Fausto E. Zapata, Jr., earned his law degree The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his Bachelors of Science degree from St. John’s University. Mr. Zapata maintains an office in Lower Manhattan and is admitted to practice in The State of New York and The State of New Jersey.
Attorney Zapata has focused on employee-side labor and employment law since graduating from law school in 2002. Since that time, he has represented large public sector labor unions and individuals in a wide variety of matters in this area of law.
Attorney Zapata has recovered large settlements on behalf of employees who have had their rights violated in the workplace. He has obtained millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of clients who were denied minimum and overtime wages and subjected to discriminatory terms and conditions of employment. He strongly believes in the rights of workers to be treated fairly and to be free of discrimination in the workplace.
